Yuri Ivanovich Lobanov (1941/Syktyvkar - 2016). In 1968 he graduated from the Faculty of Literature of the Arkhangelsk Pedagogical Institute. In 1972, he met V. Sterligov and began serious painting studies. Since 1991, he has been a member of the St. Petersburg Creative Union of Artists.
